Town Clerk

The Clerk of the Town Council keeps the journal of the proceedings and records all ordinances and resolutions in books kept for that purpose. The Clerk is the custodian of the corporate seal of the Town and is the officer authorized to use and authenticate it. The Town Clerk performs other duties and keeps other records as specified by the Town Council and which the laws of the Commonwealth require of Town Clerks. All records in the Clerk's office are public records and are open to inspection at any time during regular business hours.
