SPECIAL ISSUE TOWN HARBOR The Town of Cape Charles is proud to report that Smitty Dize, Harbor Master, received information today that the Town Harbor will be designated a Virginia Clean Marina. This is no small honor and the Town is proud to share this designator with Bay Creek Marina making the Town Harbor and Bay Creek Marina the only two (2) harbors out of the eleven (11) harbors on the Eastern Shore to attain this distinction. The Town is planning an event with the State of Virginia to honor this achievement in November 2008. Details are forthcoming. Congratulations to Smitty, Assistant Harbor Master Kent Pruitt and former Crew Member Kathleen Stevens.
