TOWN MANAGER’S ONE YEAR REPORT
TO THE CITIZENS OF CAPE CHARLES

On Thursday, September 11, 2008 Town Manager Joe Vaccaro acknowledged his one (1) year anniversary in his current position.

When Joe was initially hired, he listed his priorities for the Town as safety and security, fiscal responsibility and transparency on government matters (including higher ethical standards), continued attention to the Cape Charles infrastructure, the education of and leadership mentoring for Cape Charles employees and the continued attention to the historical and cultural aspects of the Town of Cape Charles. Joe believes that all citizens are equal and deserve the right to be heard and that no citizens are "above the law" in this great community.

The following is a list of accomplishments that the Town has achieved from September 11, 2007 to September 11, 2008. Joe attributes these successes and the continued improvement of Town services and attention to the citizen’s needs largely due to the great staff the Town of Cape Charles has. He thanks everyone for their support, corrective/constructive comments and continued beliefs in this great community of Cape Charles.
