  Town Council
 
  The Town of Cape Charles is governed by the Strong Mayor form of government. The Mayor is elected every four years and three Council members are elected every two years with each serving a four year term. Council meets at 7:00 PM the second Thursday of each month in the Saint Charles Parish Hall located at 550 Tazewell Ave. The public is always invited to attend.

Cape Charles Elected Officials Sworn In

On Tuesday, June 10, 2010, the newly-elected officials took their oaths of office for their terms beginning July 1, 2010. Ms. Victoria Morgan, Chief Deputy Clerk of the Northampton County Circuit Court, attended the Town Council meeting and administered the oaths of office to Mayor Dora Sullivan, Councilmen Chris Bannon and Mike Sullivan and Councilwoman Joan Natali.

Their terms of office run from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2014.
