Cape Charles is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan. The following files contain meeting information and draft sections of the comprehensive plan. Please check this page frequently to view the most recent drafts and announcements. You can also view the currently adopted Comprehensive Plan by clicking here. Please contact the Planning and Zoning Department with any questions. ANNOUNCEMENT - The Planning Commission will be reviewing the draft Future Land Use Plan at upcoming regular sessions. Planning Commission regular sessions are held the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm in the Council Chambers. The public is welcome to comment on the Future Land Use Plan at these meetings. Written comments can also be submitted for review by the Planning Commission.
POPULATION STUDY NEWS - The first draft of the Population Study report has been completed. The Population Study is meant to compliment the information found in the Existing Conditions chapters. Click here to view the draft Population Study report.
