Dora Sullivan was born in Moascar, Egypt outside of Alexandria. She has lived in Cape Charles since 1999 and was a member of Town Council from 2002 until 2006. She ran for public office as she wishes to be a public servant, listening to her constituency and trying to solve problems.

Mayor Sullivan's term expires on June 30, 2014.
